Seasonal Considerations
Seasonal considerations will have an impact on the number of reviews you get. They always have and they always will.
Starting mid November, you'll typically see a slow down in the number of reviews you are getting. This is due to people focusing on their end of year priorities both personally and professionally. As Christmas approaches, people become focused on the holiday season and this carries through into the new year.
Typically speaking, things start to pick up again mid to late January. Then, things will start to slow down once more as summer approaches and people are taking more time to be outdoors and/or enjoy vacation time. Only to pick back up again as kids go back to school and people get back to work.
Repeat Customers
If you have a business that deals with repeat customers, this will also lessen the number of reviews you get. Also, once a customer has been added to your Starloop, they cannot be re-added for at least 90 days.
Black Swan Events
Natural disasters, elections, pandemics and other events can preoccupy people which will also have an impact on the number of reviews you get.
Google & Facebook
Both of these sites are known to remove reviews, filter reviews and otherwise make it so reviews written by your clients will not show up. They have their own reasons for this (usually revolving around their attempts at AI based quality control) and it's a normal for a small percentage of reviews that are written for your company to not show up and/or be removed.
