Customers Unable to Write A Review

Sometimes, one of your customers won't be able to complete the process of writing a review. This is normal.

What do I tell a Recipient having troubles writing us a review?

For those of you who would like to communicate with your customers who are struggling to leave a review, you can use this message below as a starting point.

Hello Name,

While we appreciate you trying to leave us a review, we understand sometimes there are technical issues that are out of everyone's hands.

If you really want to write us a review, one thing you could try is search for our business name on on Google, and try to post a review directly there.

Thank you for brining this to my attention and for the effort you are making to support us!

Kind regards,

YOUR NAME

What can prevent a review being posted?

Here are a few reasons a customer might not be able to post a review

  • Your Recipient doesn't receive their Starloop Invite

A small percentage of your Recipients will have their Starloop emails and texts will be blocked or sent to spam. This is normal and, unfortunately, out of our control as there are thousands of email and SMS providers with different rules. The good news is, most people will receive your Starloop Invite and you will get reviews!

  • Your Recipient says "the links don't work"

Starloop emails and texts messages contain links. A small percentage of your Recipients will experience Starloop links as "broken" or not working. This too is normal. Most of the time, it's caused by a localized issue (e.g. an issue with their device). Because there are infinite combinations of devices, operating systems and email clients (e.g. Apple iPhone 14 + iOS15 + Gmail etc.) it's difficult to test for every possible outcome. The good news is, Starloop links work just fine for the vast majority of your Recipients, and you will get reviews!

  • Your Recipient's account isn't working

Google, Facebook – it doesn't matter. A small percentage of your Recipients will have specific issues with their accounts, preventing them from writing you a review. This too is normal. We all have issues with our accounts from time to time. Whether it's logins, passwords, redirect loops, a need to clear cookies – the list of possible issues is long! The good news is this is rarely and issue and most of your Recipients will be able to use Starloop and write you a review (hopefully a good one!)

"Yeah, but it keeps happening!"

As discussed, a small percentage of your Recipients not being able to write you a review is 100% normal. However, if you receive an unusual spike in your customers mentioning that they're having trouble posting a review for you, then we encourage you to contact our support team and let us know what's up!
